DID YOU KNOW?
1 in 10 children are sexually abused.
1 in 2 women have been sexually abused.
ONLY 1 in 5 people report sexual abuse.

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAPM), and National Crime Victim's Right Week, it's time to 'Start by Believing' victims of sexual violence in our communities. Join us as we listen, learn, and collaborate with local experts from Jackson County. 'Start by Believing', hosted by Community Works in Southern Oregon, is an initiative from the End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) organization that focuses on victim-centered, trauma-informed approaches to providing care for victims of sexual abuse nationwide.
