Beekman House 1932 Living History Tours
Beekman House 1932 Living History Tours
Time travel to 1932 Jacksonville. It’s the Great Depression and Ben and Carrie Beekman, the children of Jacksonville, Oregon's wealthiest and most prominent pioneer family, are closing up their 1870s family home. Guests touring this national historic landmark become part of a 1-hour living history “play,” interacting with Carrie and Ben Beekman, family members, and friends as they comment on Depression Era Jacksonville, 1932 life, and share memories of growing up in the late 1800s.
The Beekmans will be welcoming visitors at 10:30am, 12n, or 2pm on April 20 and May 18. Admission is $10. Tour groups are limited to 10 people and reservations are required.
