On Saturday, May 25, 2024 from noon to 6 pm and Sunday, May 26 from noon to 5 pm as a part of the 85th Annual Azalea Festival in Brookings, OR, the Manley Art Center will host an exhibition showcasing paintings, ceramics, sculpture, books, mixed media, fiber arts, jewelry, recycled creations and a variety of works created by local artists. Along with the art show and sale there will be free children’s art activities, book table and author signings, artist demonstrations, food, live music and a special silent auction for a ceramic garden totem created by the Manley Mudslingers. There will be People’s Choice awards in adult and youth 2D and 3D categories with prizes. The Manley event is sponsored by Evergreen Federal Bank.
The Manley Art Center is located at 433 Oak Street in Brookings. This event is part of a full weekend of family activities in Brookings for the Azalea Festival including a parade, live music in Azalea Park, a classic car show at the harbor, a quilt show, airplane rides, street vendors and more.
