Author Talk & Book Signing: Phillip Margolin

Author Talk & Book Signing: Phillip Margolin

Join us on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:00 PM at Curry Public Library, Gold Beach for an author talk, Q&A, and book signing hosted by Curry Public Library in Gold Beach on behalf of Curry County libraries. The first 30 attendees will receive a free copy of Margolin’s latest thriller, Murder at Black Oaks. Additional copies will be available to purchase.

Lawyer turned novelist, Phillip Margolin worked for the Oregon Court of Appeals before eventually moving into private practice. In 1996, he began writing full time. His novels have won numerous awards and accolades, and several have been made into movies and miniseries. He has authored over 20 novels, all of which have been bestsellers. In his latest novel, Murder at Black Oaks, Attorney Robin Lockwood investigates a murder at an isolated resort in the Oregon mountains where she is tasked with finding a murderer among the odd group of guests. Murder at Black Oaks is a "skillfully written and well-polished new classic mystery" that is the "perfect winter read."

This author visit is part of Title Wave 2023, a collaboration between the libraries in Coos and Curry Counties that seeks to highlight authors of the Pacific Northwest and connect them to the local community of readers. Coastline Libraries would like to thank the following sponsors of Title Wave 2023: Wildflour Public House, the Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park, Books by the Bay, WinterRiver Books & Gallery, and the Friends and Foundations of Coastline Libraries.
