The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde - A Halloween Broadcast Special

On Halloween Night at 8pm, JPR will present a special broadcast of Camelot Theatre's production of the classic horror novella on the Classics & News Service.

Man is not truly one, but two.” With these words, Dr. Henry Jekyll embarks on a dark experiment: to separate his good side from his evil side. Jekyll is partly successful: Edward Hyde emerges from these experiments to terrify Victorian London. As Jekyll grows weaker, Hyde grows stronger, leaving Jekyll’s friends to try and discover what is wrong with their comrade.

Based on the book by Robert Louis Stevenson and adapted by Jonathan Pratt, this adaptation of the classic horror novella comes to life in a modern audio drama with a cinematic score and sound design directed by Jonathan Pratt and starring Roy Von Rains Jr. and Lanny Horn.

Join us at 8pm Halloween night on the Classics & News Service for this special broadcast.

Located in Talent, Oregon, Camelot is a semi-professional community theatre serving Southern Oregon and the Rogue Valley. Founded in 1982 as Actors' Theatre. The Theatre took up residence in 1990 in a one-time feed store that was converted to a 104-seat theatre. The theatre name was changed from Actors' Theatre to Camelot Theatre Company.
