The NO Side On Oregon Measure 101

Ballots arrive in a little more than a week for Oregon's January 23rd election.  It features exactly one item: Ballot Measure 101, a vote on a tax on some healthcare providers and insurance premiums, to fully fund the Oregon Health Plan, Oregon's version of Medicaid. 

The legislature approved it last summer, but members who oppose the tax started a petition campaign to force it to the ballot. 

We visited with the Yes on 101 forces on December 18th (see below); here we listen to the arguments against 101.  State representatives Julie Parrish and Cedric Hayden join us.
