Southern Oregon University prides itself on its environmental friendliness and sustainability efforts.

But its next big project in this area could take a big sales job.

Two of the university's aging steam boilers need to be replaced.

And the next boilers could be fired by biomass, woody waste material.

The boilers would produce steam and electricity--and the by-products of burning wood.

We sit down with SOU reps to talk about the proposal and the process.

And there's a big public meetingcoming on November 12.
