Purchasing Policies That Help The Environment

Since consumers get more careful over time about what's in the products they buy, it's only natural for governments to show that level of care. 

That's the thinking in Oregon state government. 

The Procurement Services people who buy goods for the state are now directed to avoid buying toxic substances where possible... using owl decoys instead of rat poison, for example.
