Over her already lengthy career, Joss Stone has garnered an impressive list of awards and accomplishments. Over the last few years, her Total World Tour brought Stone to every corner of the globe. But 2020 brought something new - a complete halt to a life and schedule that Joss Stone has been following for more than a decade.

When the pandemic hit and Stone was faced with a long-term pause to life on the road, the boredom crept in and she quickly realized the mistake of her formative years, saying "If you do anything in your life, you must learn an instrument! When the pandemic hit, I was like uh....what am I going to do? I can't play guitar, I can't play piano. I can sing, but I can't just sing at people a capella!"

Instead, Stone turned her attention to new projects. She launched a Youtube cooking series often featuring her mother that was well received, and she started a podcast called A Cuppa Happy.

For our session, Stone shared a few live cuts recorded with her full band, including her hit "Right To Be Wrong," her new single "Walk With Me," and a brand new tune called "Loving You" that we were thrilled to give a broadcast debut,

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
