Born to legendary British folk musicians Richard and Linda Thompson, Teddy left London at 18, settling in New York five years later.

Inspired by the sound of classic pop songs, Thompson's new album Heartbreaker, Please bubbles with influences from all corners of the musical landscape: doo-wop, classic country, soul, and traditional rock 'n' roll.

Though it has been nearly a decade since his last solo release, Thompson has been busy in other musical projects both as performer and producer. From his home in Brooklyn, he talked about how he's been slowly stepping into the social media world during the pandemic, and gave a few great live performances of songs from the new album.

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
