Tom West is songwriter and fingerpicking guitarist. His songs are inspired by lost love and the act of getting lost; they traverse from very simple folk tunes to grand and moody soundscapes.
West learned how to play in the low lit bars and pubs of Adelaide, Australia, eventually recording an album called A Spark in the Dark in a shed in the Adelaide hills. After spending the summer of 2013 writing and composing, West returned to the studio to work with acclaimed producer John Castle. His newest record Oncoming Clouds was released on July 2nd.
