The Brothers Reed - JPR's 2020 Tiny Desk Regional Favorite!

Ashland indie-folk trio submits stand-out video submission for 2020.

This year's NPR Tiny Desk Content generated dozens of submissions from hopeful musicians throughout southern Oregon and northern California. We put together a passionate judging panel here at JPR and dove in to identify our regional favorite. And to no one's huge surprise, The Brothers Reed picked up the honor for 2020. Excellent song, fantastic video quality, and great performance!

Here's their video entry for "Brighter Side Of Things."

We also wanted to shine light on a handful of other submissions from the region that we really enjoyed this year.

Jobe Woosley (Eugene, OR) - "Comfort Me"

James Zeller (McKinleyville, CA) - "I Like To Dream Small"

M'Gilvry Allen (Selma, OR) - "Wide Awake"

Matthew Wallace (Hayfork, CA) - "Mambo Queen"
