Appreciating Life In The Shadow Of Death

Marilyn Schlitz

We often stumble over the right thing to say to the survivors of a person who just died.

"They're in a better place," some people will say.  Are they?  As much as religion and desire speak of a beautiful afterlife, we just don't know.

But a new documentary movie, "Death Makes Life Possible," explores the subject of death in depth.

People who are approaching the end, and people who have nearly died and been revived, share their stories.

The film is scheduled for screenings in our region in coming weeks.
