Stay-At-Home Grandmoms: Project Independence

Oregon started Project Independence nearly 40 years ago, to help senior citizens stay in their homes, relatively independent. 

The aging of society will undoubtedly put new pressures on the program, but it just got an infusion of cash from the state legislature. 

State Senator Alan Bates is one of the champions of the program. 

He visits to talk about the workings of the project, now and in the near future.
