Prepping For Mosquito Season

When you get right down to it, mosquitoes are wildlife. 

But NOT the kind of wildlife many people had in mind when setting up theBandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge on the Oregon Coast.  Mosquitoes ran wild on the refuge last summer, prompting quick measures to curb the mosquito population. 

A public comment period on a pair of issues related to the mosquitoes closes  on Wednesday. 

We'll focus on mosquito behavior and control with Jim Lunders of Jackson County Vector Control.
