Clearing The Air: Woodburning Controls In Effect

It took a long time to clear the air, but the winter air in the greater Medford area is greatly improved from a couple of decades ago. 

In the late 80s, Jackson Countyand several cities passed ordinances regulating home woodstoves and fireplaces.  Woodburning advisories still exist in the winter in the valley, but instances of the valley's air violating federal standards are rare these days.  We catch up on the advisory system and the full picture on air quality.
