Updating California's State Wildlife Action Plan

Long before wild animals begin heading for the endangered species list, steps will be taken to help ensure their survival. 

That is the hope, anyway… expressed in California through the State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP). And since the plan is subject to federal scrutiny, it needs to be updated every ten years. 

The 2015 update is already in the works, with chances for the public to comment on care and feeding of wildlife and wildlife habitat.
