When you're struggling to make your monthly rent payment, you're generally not thinking about things like solar water heating.
But the California Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) is thinking along those lines. CDS just announced a partnership to install solar water heaters in a thousand low-income homes, to help with sustainability and energy costs.
The cost to the residents? Nothing.
