Learning Oregon's New School Rating System

You can be forgiven if you have trouble keeping up with all of the changes taking place in public schools. 

Methods for testing students, teachers and entire schools continue to evolve.  The Oregon Department of Education recently rolled out a five-tier school rating system--Level 5 is the best grade, Level 1 is the worst--and schools are either celebrating their ratings or making plans to raise them. 

The deputy state school superintendent joins us to explain the new system and its effects.
