Getting Land Use Ordinances Ready for Pot Dispensaries

Medical marijuana dispensaries will begin showing up in Oregon in the near future, thanks to a law passed by the state legislature this year. 

The Medford City Council recently voted to ban dispensaries, but the state law may trump that. Meanwhile, local jurisdictions are looking for guidelines to implement the dispensary law; we check in with the boss at Jackson County Development Services for some clues to the process of setting up and opening dispensaries.
