Who would NOT want to work at Crater Lake, high in the mountains, next to the deepest (and bluest) lake in the country?

John Sollinger gets to the join the small club of people who work at Oregon's only national park.

He's an associate professor at Southern Oregon University and a glass mosaic artist, and he spent two weeks at the park this fall as the Artist-in-residence.

Which turned out to be a stroke of good timing... his stint ended before the government shutdown closed the park.
