Anybody who had not heard of "Schindler's List" got to know the story through the Steven Spielberg film of the same name.
Oskar Schindler saved more than 1200 Jews from Nazi death camps by putting them to work in his factory. Leon Leyson was the youngest of them all, working in the factory at age 13, standing on a wooden box to reach the machines. Leyson told his story in The Boy on the Wooden Box, but died as it was published. His son Daniel Leyson joins us with his father's story.
