JPR

JPR's News Director Liam Moriarty is retiring. You've probably heard his voice. He's been covering the news here and abroad for over 30 years.

Liam was JPR news director from 2002 to 2005, reporting and producing what was then called the Jefferson Daily regional news magazine. After covering environmental news in Seattle, then reporting on European news from France, he returned to JPR in 2013 to cover the stories and issues that are important to the people of Southern Oregon and Northern California, all of which he's done with thoughtfulness and a love of community. Today, we share some memories and wish him a very fond farewell. After a much-deserved break, Liam will continue helping manage JPR's website.
