Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg confirmed Thursday that shooting victim Chris Mintz has been released from the hospital.

Mintz is the 30-year old Army veteran who ran at the gunman and tried to block the entrance to the classroom.

One survivor told ABC News that Mintz ran to the library, pulled the fire alarm and told people to run.

The hospital says another UCC shooting victim, Cheyeanne Fitzgerald is in fair condition and that all other patients from tragedy have been released.

Memorial services for the victims begin today and run through the weekend.

President Obama is scheduled to land in Eugene before noon Friday and travel by helicopter to Roseburg where he’ll meet with the families of the victims.
