Nataki Garrett had just begun her first full season as artistic director at Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival when the pandemic shut it down.

Nothing produced by OSF has graced its stages since March 2020. But now with the end of the pandemic possibly in sight, the festival recently announced a very different season opening in April 2022.

The changes to the usual OSF model are structural as well as artistic, with a smaller number of plays and lower ticket prices for people to see them.

The co-bosses of the festival, Garrett andExecutive Director David Schmitz, join us to flesh out some of the details.
