More Clearing, More Building: FEMA Update On Fire Recovery

Warmer weather on the way should help the effort to clear away and rebuild after the September fires swept through parts of the region. Some frustration with the pace of cleanup and rebuilding has already been expressed; the road is a long one.

FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, plays a role in long-term rebuilding, and in the short-term housing of fire victims. We continue an irregular set of visits with FEMA reps to keep up with news on the housing and rebuilding front.
