We're not up to Jetson Family-level robots yet, but we're getting there. The robot maid (Rosie) of the old TV cartoon has an analogy in the Roomba, but the real-world robot has less utility (and personality).

But just you wait, say Laura Major and Julie Shah, who work with robots and autonomous vehicles. They write about full-blown teamwork with artificial intelligence in their book What To Expect When You're Expecting Robots: The Future of Human-Robot Collaboration.

They join us to talk about the advances they see coming in robot capabilities, and how we can get used to the help.
