The arrival of cold weather raises the hope that snow may soon fall in the mountains. When it does, Mount Ashland Ski Area will be ready with a plan.

This and any ski area has the advantage of wide open spaces out-of-doors, good for COVID defense. But the usual ways of moving people up the mountain--lifts and lift lines--potentially put people close together.

Mount Ashland will make some changes to its operations to keep people apart. General Manager Hiram Towle talks to us about the operating plan.
