Wreckage of an apartment complex in Talent.
Geoffrey Riley

With thousands of homes lost in the Rogue Valley alone, thousands of kitchens were lost. People not only have no permanent places to sleep, they have place to store and prepare food.

Rogue Food Unites is one of several organizations rising to the challenge. RFU brings together Jackson County restaurants and farms to provide finished meals made with local food to families in need.

It's a combining of needs, matching families seeking food with restaurants seeking business. Adam Danforth is one of the founders, Rico Velazquez is one of the chefs; they are our guests.
