Everybody hates the Electoral College. Until their favorite candidate wins the presidency without winning the popular vote.

Donald Trump is the fifth person to win the presidency without winning the most votes of the people. The authors of the Constitution created the Electoral College and its second set of votes as a way to safeguard the republic.

Or so they thought. Susan Stitham teaches a course at OLLI at Southern Oregon University called "Electoral College: Safeguard or Anachronism?"

She visits to talk about this American institution... and if it's still working as designed.
