Health officials in many jurisdictions put out warnings about gatherings over Labor Day weekend, concerned that people would gather in big groups and spread the virus that causes COVID-19. Jackson County Public Health joined the chorus of warnings.

Dr. Jim Shames, the county Medical Director, is keeping an eye on the case numbers, which could rise in a few days... or not. Dr. Shames joins us once a week to answer questions about the virus and its intended containment.
