OSF Gets Big PPP Loan Package To Stay Afloat

It's a rare business that did NOT take a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic. The lists of businesses from our region that applied for Paycheck Protection Program loans just look like the chamber of commerce directory.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, closed by the pandemic, got loan authorization up to $10 Million, up to a quarter of its overall budget. Paul Christy is the interim Executive Director at OSF, but he's also a former employee of the federal Small Business Administration.

He talked with April Ehrlich about keeping OSF solvent when it is not producing plays.
