The pandemic really clamped down on the arts scene, forcing cancellations and postponements of all kinds of arts events.

But the power of the arts to inspire and educate remains undiminished, so some new approaches are called for. Arcata Playhouse will soon take its "Wonder Wagon" on the road to provide arts activities around the Humboldt Bay area.

The wagon contains free packets of supplies for art and dance, distributed at elementary schools and community centers... with physical distancing enforced.

A rep from Arcata Playhouse visits with details of the Wonder Wagon and its itinerary.
