Museums and other cultural organizations open the doors and hope crowds show up. In normal times, that is.

Right now, with crowds a bad idea, museum hours, music concerts, art classes, and many other cultural events are just plain cancelled. The resulting financial pain could kill some organizations, as documented in a recent survey taken by the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Organizations outside the Portland metro area may take the brunt of the damage. Brian Rogers, Executive Director of the Oregon Cultural Trust, visits with details of the survey.

We get on-the-ground stories of COVID-19 compliance from the Schneider Museum of Art in Ashland and the Coos Art Museum. Directors Scott Malbaurn and Steven Broocks join the discussion.
