A little anxiety is appropriate at this moment in history. Even if there had been no COVID-19, there are some other concerns to keep in mind. The fate of the planet is one of them; global warming weighs heavily on the human race as a problem in need of solutions.

Sarah Ray, Environmental Studies Professor at Humboldt State University, considers the mindset for approaching the issue in a book, "A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety: How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet."

She will give an online presentation on the highlights of the book, and discuss it in an interview on The Exchange.

Sarah gives another online presentation tonight (June 2), found online here (registration required).
