The assertion of basic rights has been a hallmark of the COVID-19 pandemic. Political leaders ordered people to stop going to work and school, where possible, and remain at home.

It wasn't long before people objected, saying their rights had been violated. Disability Rights Oregon represents a group of people that has to assert its rights even when there is no pandemic.

A DRO rep visits to talk about issues for people with disabilities raised by the crisis, including housing rights.
