Decision-making processes at the Bureau of Land Management have for years been assisted by Regional Advisory Councils and Committees (RACs). The decisions have a great bearing on Oregon, where BLM owns more than 15,000,000 acres of land.
But the Trump Administration set out to review and/or reconfigure RACs, and in Oregon, several have not met for two years or more.
