OHSU Forms Team To Focus On Early Cancer Detection

A recent guest on The Exchange made the case for working to catch cancer much earlier, catching the first cell, rather than trying to kill the last.  The attitude is gaining ground in medicine. 

Witness the creation of CEDAR, the Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center at OHSU in Portland (Oregon Health & Science University).  It is an organization within an organization, designed to explore ideas for early detection of cancer swiftly.  Dr. Sadik Esener is the director of CEDAR and our guest.
