In a letter on the fair , General Manager Wally Bomgaars says “the health and safety of the public and local communities are paramount” and the organization will follow all state and federal recommendations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thursday, Governor Kate Brown cancelled all large gatherings through September.

The three-day Oregon Country Fair has taken place in July on forested property outside Veneta annually since 1969. Bomgaars says they’re looking into ways to virtually gather this summer.
