Oregon Gubernatorial Candidates Hit The Airwaves

Both of Oregon's major-party candidates for governor plan to blanket the airwaves this fall.

Democrat incumbent John Kitzhaber and Republican challenger Dennis Richardson rolled out campaign commercials Wednesday.

If you watch TV in Oregon, you'll probably see these ads a few times.

Here's the incumbent’s ad:

And here's the ad from his challenger:

You can expect to see the Kitzhaber ad more often. The Democrat has reported raising about twice as much as Richardson since their campaigns kicked off last year.

The two are planning to meet face-to-face in a series of at least four debates starting this month.
