Signal Status & Impairments

The Classics & News Service on 90.5 FM in Coos County may have intermittent outages over the next couple of days. The tower where 90.5 FM is located is currently being re-painted and the owners of the tower will turn the service off while their workers are on the tower.

On Sunday, September 15th PG&E will be replacing an electric power pole at our tower site on Bunker Hill. They will shut of power to our site from approximately 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. In Humboldt County, our Classics & News service on 102.5 FM and our News & Information service 91.5 FM  will be affected. Our Classics & News service on 101.9 FM in Mendocino will also be off the air while they complete the work.

In the meantime, you can hear any of our three services using the Listen Live feature at the top of the page, or listen through the JPR app.

Update 8/12/2019 | 9:00 am --  Our engineers have discovered extreme damage to the transmitter for KSKF. 90.9 FM will operate at low power until they are able to repair the equipment.

Update 8/8/2019 | 10:00 am --  Our Rhythm & News service on 90.9 FM is operating at low power while our engineers continue to make adjustments to the new transmission line. Classics & News on 88.5 FM is operating as normal.

Update 7/11/2018 | 9:00am -- Our engineer continues to work to return all our services to normal. These are the issues we are currently aware of:

Online: Some programming is interrupted by static.

Classics & News:  In some regions the programming is airing at a higher volume than the announcements.
