Bridging Student Education Funding Gaps

Southern Oregon University Class of 2023 graduates celebrate at their commencement ceremony.

The Last Mile Education Fund helps support the financial needs of students pursuing STEM fields through a unique "Pay It Forward" model.

Students in need can receive immediate assistance. They eventually become ambassadors of the fund, and finally, investors, when their career income allows.

The founder and CEO of the Last Mile Education Fund, Ruthie Farmer, shares details about the fund on the JX.
