The news about COVID-19 and the response to it is coming fast and furious of late.
New case numbers are sharply down, hospital admissions for COVID are less than expected, and announcements have been made about the end of indoor mask requirements--today (February 15th) is the end for California. Oregon is waiting until March 31st, but could lift the mask mandate sooner if numbers go in the right direction.
There is general agreement among medical experts that COVID will still hang around for a while.
