Stay home, the governor said. And many of us stayed home, even though it meant turning home into the office, or something like it. And there's evidence that many of us worked a bit more from home, at least outside of our usual working hours.
A pair of economists from the University of Oregon, Ben Hansen and Grant McDermott, recently published a paper on this subject. They examined activity at a website for business (GitHub), and noticed changes in working patterns when lockdowns were in effect.
