Oregon Shakespeare Festival returns indoors with first Christmas show

The Marx Brothers never encountered Ebenezer Scrooge, the (anti-?) hero of "A Christmas Carol." Or never did... until now.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, forced to change up its offerings by the pandemic, presents its first-ever holiday show, It's Christmas, Carol!

It's the first indoor show at OSF in nearly two years, and it is a homegrown effort written by Mark Bedard, Brent Hinkley, and John Tufts, who invoke the spirits of Groucho, Chico, and Harpo Marx in their encounter with Carol Scroogenhouse, a bah-humbugger for our time.

We get the lowdown on the show in a visit (not a visitation) with the creators.
