What do you mean when you say you disagree with me?

When expressing disagreement with another person, it helps to choose your words carefully.

So Ed Battistella is the perfect person to talk to us about disagreement, because his work as an English professor at Southern Oregon University is all about careful word choices... and what goes wrong when care is not taken.

Battistella is the latest speaker on the SOU Campus Theme of Disagreement, speaking tonight (November 10) on What It Means to Disagree.

The choice of words in the title is apt, since Ed will get into points like the dictionary definition of disagreement. He visits with a preview, and we expect him to be perfectly agreeable.
