As society learns more about mental illness, it becomes clear that there's more to awareness than looking for the signs of illness. It's important to know the prevalance of mental illness by age; many issues crop up early in life.

Our monthly segment on mental health, produced by Andra Hollenbeck at NAMI-Southern Oregon, focuses on services available to young people.

We hear from Kairosin the Grants Pass area, in the person of Sarah Hollingworth.

Charlie Health also focuses on young clients, and NAMI at the national level provides programs as well. Maren Stubenvoll from Charlie Health and Barb Solish from NAMI join the conversation.
