The same day some media outlets reported a "leveling off" of COVID cases around the world, Jackson County broke another daily record for new cases (614 on August 25).

Oregon still looks good when compared with other states, but our corner of the state is getting hit hard.

Dr. Jim Shames, Jackson County Medical Director, is back to weekly Q&A sessions, as long as the danger remains high. He's joined this week by Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer, chief medical officer at the health agency in Douglas County.
