Administrators Deal With New School Year, Old Covid Issues

The calendar was set long ago; Medford School District leaders did not expect to welcome students back to school just as COVID-19 cases were spiking in the region.

But that's what happened as school opened (August 23rd).

Ashland Schools deal with many of the same issues just a short way down the road. All districts are now balancing requirements placed by the state with the demands of parents and teachers.

We hear the school district end of the conversation in a chat with Ashland Schools Superintendent Samuel Bogdonove and Medford Schools Deputy Superintendent Jeanne Grazioli.
