Oregon set a new single-day record for new COVID-19 cases on August 17th, and that was just a few days after Jackson County hit an all-time one-day record with 416.

To put things in perspective, that's more cases in a day than the county racked up in a WEEK through most of this year.

Dr. Jim Shames, Jackson County Medical Director, is back to weekly Q&A sessions, as long as the danger remains high.
